The initial review period within our diocese for the United Thank Offering 2018 Grants is now open; submissions will be accepted through Friday, February 2. The selected organization will be notified by February 16, and will then work with the diocesan representatives to complete the full application for submission by UTO’s March 2 deadline. Submissions for grants must be made through the diocese; they may not be made directly to UTO national.
This year’s granting theme is Becoming Beloved Community: Racial Healing, Reconciliation, and Justice. Organizations should consider this theme as they develop their materials. The Episcopal Church’s plan for Becoming Beloved Community can be found here, and a summary can be found here. Applicants should also review the UTO’s internal guidelines regarding grant focus and criteria (which can be found here) before submitting an application.
In order to submit, please send the completed UTO Grant Application, including the narrative budget (sample here) to Whitney Evans at email@example.com no later than 5:00 pm Friday, February 2.
Any questions about the process may also be directed to Whitney at the email above.
