Join your diocesan ECW for our annual fall event! This event is open to all women in our diocese, and will focus on personal spiritual enrichment.
The theme is Finding God in our Busy, Everyday Lives.
We will search for methods to find God in our lives daily, seeing through the mundane things like grocery shopping, commuting and carpooling, work, and routine, and finding a lens through which to view the big events, be they joyful, sad, or anything else!
Register online or by mail-in form (printable version below) before October 17!
The day will be broken up into small group work, led by ordained and EfM-trained facilitators who will teach theological reflection – a process we can use to reflect on our experiences through the lens of our faith. We hope regular use of this practice will allow us to draw closer to God and bring a greater awareness of how God acts in our lives.
Attendance will be limited to ensure the groups are not too large. Please register early! Free childcare is available.
The small fee associated will pay for your materials and your lunch. The event schedule will be:
9:30 – Refreshments & Registration
10 – Introduction
10:30 – Small Group work
12 – Share with larger group
1 – lunch and diocesan sharing time, “open mic” session
2:30 – corporate worship
3 – adjourn
