Regina Ratterree honored as the 2015 Triennial Distinguished Woman

On July 28, 2015, the Episcopal Church Women of the Diocese of Upper South Carolina honored Regina Ratterree, of All Saints’, Cayce, with its Distinguished Woman Award for the 2015 Triennium.

Regina has been a vital, active participant in her diocese. She is a past ECW Diocesan President and Diocesan United Thank Offering (UTO) Coordinator. She has served in mayb positions including delegate to our General Convention, member on the Committee for Provincial and National Concerns, Standing Committee, Executive Council

, Voorhees College Board of Trustees, and chair of Total Ministry. Regina has served as delegate to four Triennial Meetings and was a deputy to General Convention in Denver. She has served on the Province IV Executive Committee. As Province IV Representative, she was on the UTO committee and was elected Member-at-Large. Regina was National UTO Vice President in 2009 and National UTO President in 2010. Her responsibilities included overseeing grants from Africa, serving on the Executive Committee, Joint Committee ECW/UTO, and Face-to-Face Subcommittee.

Regina worked as the State Network Administrator for the SC Employment Security Commission. She was honored by the SC Association of Workforce Professionals by receiving the Employee Performance Award in 2006.

Regina was raised in Rock Hill, SC, and graduated from Wofford College (now University). She and her husband, Julian, moved to Columbia and attended All Saints’, Cayce. There she has been Senior Warden four times and continues to serve on many teams for the parish, including ECW roles. Recently widowed, Regina has two sons and three grandchildren.
